The Linha Amarilla project

Which will link the district of San Juan de Lurigancho and Callao, was awarded to the Brazilian company OAS in 2009 for the second management of Castañeda and had an initial investment of US $ 571 million. However, in 2011, then-mayor Susana Villarán changed the name to Vía Parque Rímac and began construction in 2012.

After this in 2013 a first addendum was signed, which included the trust of 74 million with which was going to build the Rio Verde Project. But in July of 2015, Castañeda replaced two road exchanges in Avoidance for the construction of the Bella Unión bridge of the University Avenue and changed the destiny of the trust of Rio Verde for the construction of by-pass of July 28.
